Alright I'm not sure if this is right, RedJoker probably got this one but here is what I did.
I went the matrix route. I took the three equations and augmented them with the solutions. I row-reduced this and assign a parameter to z because we have an infinite amount of solutions and z isn't a leading variable. My answers: z=t y=(1/2-2t) x=2 w=(1/2-t) |

actually i kind of screwed up when i posted the question (because i wasn't given a formula - i had to create the formula from words). so the variables should have been w1, w2, w3, w4 then eventually we get 0<w<1/4. sorry for the confusion. so red joker was most on track. or maybe SWINGMYTOOL was. christ i don't know. what a trainwreck i created |
