The Velvet Underground is really good and I think their best was their first CD, but no way would I give that year to them. 67 is Sgt. Pepper's.

add another vote for Blood on the Tracks for '75. I guarantee the guy putting down Desire as the 1976 choice has never listened to it. That album is Dylan's best IMO. I'll concede 66 to Pet Sounds as it was more innovative than Blonde on Blonde, as good of an album as that is. |
