Re: NCAA College Football Week 11 -- Rank\'em
iggy,
How many more losses before you realize Auburn is not a top 25 team? If the Jayhawks wore maroon and had "Oklahoma" on their jerseys they'd be #1 right? Putting Oklahoma above Kansas is downright laughable. You know that the W/L column is the most important stat, not SOS. You punish Kansas for beating nobodies each week, but not Oklahoma for losing to them. |

But that was just a "fluke" right? W/L>SOS (BCS conferences only). |

[/ QUOTE ] Just to add a few things... This doesn't matter now, because Kansas/Missouri/Oklahoma will shake out over the next month. Kansas gets credit for being undefeated, but they still havne't even played anyone in the top five of their OWN conference. They got lucky and didn't get scheduled the three best teams in the south (OU, Texas and Texas Tech) and they haven't played the only good team in the north (Missouri). Oklahoma did have a lapse and lose to Colorado on a last second FG while Kansas won by 5 against Colorado, but Oklahoma has beaten the two best teams in the conference, Missouri and Texas. There isn't a team in the BCS conferences with a SOS worse than that of Kansas. If you don't think Kansas is getting enough respect, wait until the 24th and they'll get a chance to earn it. |

If Kansas was done right now, without games against Missouri and Oklahoma, they would not get into the BCS title game. |

Re: NCAA College Football Week 11 -- Rank\'em
1. LSU
2. Oregon 3. Kansas 4. Oklahoma 5. Missouri 6. West Virginia 7. ASU 8. Ohio St. 9. UGA 10.USC The Big XII will sort itself out, with that said I think KU will only have one loss going into its bowl game--they will lose to a better Mizzou team in a few weeks keeping them out of the Big XII championship game which will then hand Mizzou their second loss of the season yet again to Oklahoma in the championship game--tough break for Mizzou b/c I like that team a lot. If OU wins out I still don't see how they get in if LSU and Oregon win out. Right now LSU and Oregon control their fate--I say this b/c I really am sure that KU can't beat both Mizzou on the road and OU in the Champ game. I think a team to look out for is UGA, they seem to have that MO right now and could be a sleeper against LSU in a SEC champ game. Now that everyone is healthy WV is really a tough team. <3 Pat White. tOSU, umm didn't we all know this was coming sooner or later? Glad the Juice was loose yesterday. |

Re: NCAA College Football Week 11 -- Rank\'em
For those ranking Kansas #3 behind LSU and Oregon, do you think that if all three win out that an undefeated BCS conference champion should be left out of the BCS championship behind TWO one-loss teams?

Can we have two rankings for Ohio State?
If Todd Boeckman plays well: #1 If Todd Boeckman plays like ass: #40 |

Re: NCAA College Football Week 11 -- Rank\'em
pvn,
If Kansas wins out they will have beaten two top 10 teams and will of course be the unanimous #1 but right now they haven't beaten anyone, they don't have to play UT or OU and they haven't played Mizzou yet, the rest is just Big XII trash (which hurts to say--Husker fan here). Assuming all three win out, KU is the lock and the BCS has to pick between LSU and Oregon which would be a problem, I don't know how you pick between those two teams? There will be some angry people! |
