[ QUOTE ]
I don't know that I would expect her to mention her kid in the first few hours of talking to her...If I have the timeline right, you met her and talked for a few hours. Then four days later she tells you she has a kid. Doesn't seem unreasonable to me, nor does you not wanting to get involved.

[/ QUOTE ]
No sorry, she slowrolled him.

4 dates later, not 4 days.

4 dates, not days, later. That is SO unreasonable.

Totally missed that. I stand corrected.

Well, you are a jerk. I'd so the same thing but I'd make something up instead of telling her the truth.

Lies are nice sometimes. Unless I'm the jerk?

[/ QUOTE ]

What kind of lies are appropriate to break up with a girl you have dated 8 or so times and lost interest in. My usual course of action has been to just stop calling and returning calls, but I don't want to be such an [censored]. Can't I just say I don't want to see you anymore without offering some explanation?

95% of the chicks that don't have kids at your age are going to want them and soon. It is a tough age to date if you are serious about not wanting kids (I am in the same boat). My brother is 40 and getting out of a 20 year marriage, he really doesn't want more kids but he wants a hot 20 year old girlfriend so he has no choice. He's getting married in October and has promised her a couple kids.

I hope he doesn't tell her about the vasectomy for at least 2 years.

Most single women in their mid-late 20s don't have kids. Not sure where your friends are getting their info.

Option 1:Let's all meet back here in two years for your followup trainwreck post.

option 2: Let's start a pool. $10, choose the date he moves out of his 2nd house.

IF it is not too late, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD talk him out of this. The odds of a hot twenty something staying hot after a couple of kids is not very good. For recent evidence see Spears, Brittany.
