Re: SUMMARY OF THE BILL (SUPER-QUICK READ)
It would probably be fairly easy to block sites. They would just go to the major Internet nodes. To get around it, the poker sites would have to actively keep switching IP addresses, and they're not going to do that.

Re: SUMMARY OF THE BILL (SUPER-QUICK READ)
Technology and very basic "hacker" knowledge would probably make it possible for anyone that really wants to to access pokersites, no matter what the lawmakers do (within reason) to prevent it.
However, if the pokersites themselves decides that this law makes it illegal for them to accept transactions from americans, they may simply decline U.S customers. If Party, Stars, UB, FT and other major players no longer can do business with americans, the online poker economy will decrease by some 75-90 percent, no? |

Re: SUMMARY OF THE BILL (SUPER-QUICK READ)
OK, I'm still not sure about something? Will this law require and enforce poker sites to block deposits in a week (the momment Bush signs it) or in up to 270 days?
