Re: Who will admit to watching The OC?
Just found this thread.
I'm working my way through Season 1 on DVD. The show really had a lot of great qualities back then. There's a lot of great dialogue and snappy jokes. Peter Gallagher is actually an amazing comic actor. What the hell happened to this show? It went from "so bad that it's good" to "just bad." |

[ QUOTE ]
Ryan beating that guys ass at the end was sweet. And I'll be highly disappointed should he choose to find Volchuk and be "unable" to do it. [/ QUOTE ] -Was highly disappointed. -Hasn't bothered watching since, this show is so a shell of what it once was. FWIW, Peter Gallagher (Sandy Cohan) remains one hell of an actor. |

Re: Who will admit to watching The OC?
Season 1 was so much better than the subsequent season.
This season, so far, has been decent. It is weird, for how bad of an actress Mischa Barton is, the show is really missing something without her. Ryan and Taylor just sucks. All the new jail bait is pretty nice. I think I am grandfathered in to watching it without feeling awful (I'm pretty sure I was < 18 when I started watching). Right? This logic makes sense, yes? |

Re: Who will admit to watching The OC?
Yeah, this season doesn't seem very different to the last in terms of quality. I still watch every episode but I don't really enjoy it. I just loved the first season (and the end of the 2nd) so much that I'm willing to keep hoping it gets better. And forget Willa Holland, Autumn Reeser is the only great thing about this show.

Re: Who will admit to watching The OC?
This season of the OC is by far the best since the first. They've subtracted that hack Mischa Barton and added her hotter, younger sister while also giving us Luke's twin brothers, possibly the two least developed characters in the history of television. We also get Taylor sort of as an added bonus.
