Just got back from Argosy outside Cincy. My wife and I went for our anniversary. We were on the property for 46 hours: sleep 8 hours, poker 30 hours, time with the Mrs. 8 hrs. It was great.

I've had two marathons, and felt like I was hung over after, and I don't drink.

16 hours at the IP Biloxi 1/2 NL, +$1500.
14 hours at the Beau Rivage $4/8 limit, +$550, (was $750 at one point before i chased a couple royals).

If i lived near a casino, i would never do this on a regular basis, but when you have a job and are limited to make weekend trips, and you sit in a great game, that's what you hafta do...play while it's good.

I thought this was crazy until reading some of the other responses here. WOW, i would literally be dead after a 2-3 day straight session.

When I was 21 I played at the same $3/6 game at Canterbury in the same seat for 55 hours. I worked an 8 hour shift, played golf before, played 55 hours, got drunk 3 times whilst there, then went and played another round of golf. I swear to god there were deer and other [censored] jumping in front of me while golfing.

By the way, I won $40 plus about 25 drinks for a less then dollar per hour win rate.

23 hours playing in a 10/20 limit HOE (HE, Omaha High, Omaha 8) game at Prairie Meadows (Des Moines) - Huge poker binge after a weeks worth of tests in college

~36 hours at Mirage's 6/12 a couple years ago. I usually play marathon sessions, 20+ hours. When I go to Vegas I go a couple days early with no hotel room and just play until check in. I do this at least once a month. I can probably go 48hrs, no problem.

26hours at TurningStone. I think i played every game but 500+ that night.

30 hours at t-stone. drove up there one weekend with a friend. only took breaks for food and bathroom, got like 6 hrs of sleep the night before we drove home. a grand experience.
