so anyway i agree with mat about the unbanning, whatever but i don't agree w/ mat when he says the OP should not have been made. it's no different than if someone made an OP making some general observation about something that really bugs them that they have been seeing a lot of recently but haven't said anything about.

Thanks for the clarification, daryn. You do in fact seem like a reasonable guy, as was claimed in the OOT thread.

so nick was degreened for pointing out someone doing something stupid, which the admin agreed was actually stupid, and the mod responsible for doing something stupid is still a mod? just another day at 2p2 i guess...

I don't pretend to know the whole story behind Nick B. being degreened, but I don't think this is a very good synopsis.

his "reasonable" stance only came AFTER he was slapped on the wrist by admins and his banning was reversed by someone with more "internet power" than him.

Mat says the OP should not have been made and you think it was OK to do so. This is a question of judgement. So whose is correct and whose is wrong? Again aside from the fact that Mat's judgement will prevail either way.

you're wrong, i did not read any of the replies before i made my post. i also went to unban myturn2raise myself and simply noticed he had been unbanned. i just woke up.
