Re: iSTRONG\'s Video Tutorial #4: NL25 6-max
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] what time of day were you playing on stars? [/ QUOTE ] That was about 4pm british time so about 11am EST. [/ QUOTE ] Weird, that's a time I often play as well, and I don't like it much. Let's just say that there are not as many "ruseys" stacking off as at night. |

[ QUOTE ]
I just want to make clear that i don't believe that higher stakes are easier because people are more predictable and more readable. It would be very silly of me to imply that (and understand that's not what you meant.). [/ QUOTE ] Absolutely agree, and that's why I called it the next level of pain. Maybe I should have named it a different type of pain. It's just incredible frustrating to sit at a similar table at 25NL, seeing a lot of horrendous play, but not getting any cards/flops to profit from it. Especially, if the table is full of players calling down with any pair or at times even Ace high. Then you can't even try to make "moves" to stop the rake from nibbling away at your stack. |

great initiative making these vids.
watching these made me actually realise how important position is, so I'll have to work on that myself. I'll sure watch each of these multiple times to keep learning from them. thank you! |

Istrong
At world poker exchange I saw this note when i was going to deposit money. Customers who deposit funds via InstaDebit will receive withdrawals only via InstaDebit, up to the total amount of their previous InstaDebit deposits. Does this mean I can't widthdraw any winnings from the site? |

Re: iSTRONG\'s Video Tutorial #4: NL25 6-max
Love your videos IStrong - have definitely improved my crappy 6-max play. If you could find some way to say the word "flop" a few more times per video, I'd be most appreciative.
Looking forward to the rest of 'em! |

[/ QUOTE ] Dude, if you are looking forward to NL100 just so you can try out some moves, you're gonna be disappointed. Sure, they fold a little more preflop, and you can steal some blinds. You can take a lot of pots by playing position well too. But the vast majority of my money at NL100 is just from getting the fish to go along when I have a hand. I've gotten better at hand reading, which is more important at NL, but I can count the number of stone cold bluffs (aside from CBs) I've made on one hand, yet my winrate is practically the same as NL50 and 25. By the way, multitabling is the cure to card death. It's pretty hard to run card dead on 4 tables for an hour. |
