Screwdriver:
vodka (start with a shot, when the night goes on vodka will be 3/4 of the drink), orange juice, shtload of ice. Enjoy.

keith, i'd think you'd be suprised to find out that it really doesn't matter to girls if your drink has an umbrella in it.

Vodka-Diet Red Bull

I don't like any sugar in mixed drinks as it makes me sick later.

You could try Vodka Martinis & Vodka & Tonics as well.

actually this is a very different drink and it is considered somewhat cool in most young people circles i'd guess. the only problem is that all that milk/cream will make you puke if you plan to really booze it up.

White Russians are great if you're not drinking too much, though.

If you don't mind sugar, Tom Collins is a tasty drink that you won't be looked down on for drinking.

I think I'm worse than OP.... I hate the taste of pretty much all alcohol, but I love White Russians.

I didn't like beer when I started drinking either. I just keep drinking it until I forgot I didn't like it. Practice makes perfect!

Try a 7 and 7. I don't like the way that looks. Make it a seven and seven. Eh, I don't like that either. At least you don't have to write it out when you order it.
