The only way slowhio state wins is if the right people lose and they completely luckbox their way to a championship like they did against Miami (which they didn't actually win btw. pass interference my ass) They basically will have to win due to hanging chads.

By the right people, you mean Cal/Arizona State.

Yeah, I agree. Also, yes, the Big10 sucks. That said, this would probably be quite a bit less of a fluke than that championship.

Obviously, undefeated Pac-10 team should go over tOSU. That said, I obviously don't think undefeated Pac-10 team is going to happen.

Cal-tOSU mark my words.

LSU is the best team in the country. Cal and OSU are both significantly more likely to go undefeated, though, in my opinion. OSU is the most likely team to play in the title game, Cal second most likely, LSU third most likely. Of course it's still WAY early and anything could happen. Kansas isn't out of the hunt yet, the way this year has gone, lol.

I voted LSU and Oklahoma

LSU has put together such a solid resume that they would be the top one-loss team as long as the one loss isn't in the SEC title game---gives them an edge

Oklahoma because I absolutely love their team. They are solid everywhere. Unfortunately, they lost their margin for error with the loss at Colorado (who is a marginal top 25 to top 30 team). Oklahoma leads the computers and the human polls that make up the BCS calculations for one loss teams.

Ummm...Cal's remaining schedule is too hard and not every quality opponent will have a -4 turnover margin v them. Being a non-traditional Pac10 school means one loss is one too many.

tOSU finishes with @Penn St, Wisconsin, Illinois, and @Michigan
I just don't seem them winning all of those and there will be no love for a one loss Big11Ten team.

Boston College will likely lose at least 3 games the rest of the regular season--I have them losing 4.

ASU--pac10 is too tough

SC---lost to Stanford---goodbye

Florida---sorry, 2 losses is 2 losses---> see last year's LSU

Mizzou---BigXII North schedule just has too many offenses for their defense. One of these games, the Chase Daniels' machine will lose the turnover battle and get outscored. Also, good luck beating OU twice! A one loss team from the BigXII will get no love unless it's Oklahoma.

South Florida--just too many games they'll have to grind out the rest of the way---could copy 2002 Ohio State, but I doubt it.

Cincinnati--same boat as South Florida, but slightly easier schedule for a slightly worse team.

Kansas---hahahhahahahhahahhahahhah ROFL

Illinois--sorry, no love for a one loss big11ten team. Plus, very slim chance at not picking up another loss.

tOSU is a very, very good team and plays a pansy-ass Big ten schedule.

[/ QUOTE ]

their big11ten schedule is quite respectable, though backloaded

most everyone thought they'd have a real good shot (like 50%) of starting 8-0 this season

they miss Indiana (pretty decent squad) and Iowa (pretty awful squad)
however
N'western
@Minnesota
@Purdue
Michigan St
@Penn St
Wisconsin
Illinois
@Michigan

is a respectable conference schedule

the middle and bottom of the big11ten is alot stronger this year than last

it's the 3 home non-conf games against Youngstown St, Akron, and Kent St that's pansy

A one loss USC team with road wins over California, Oregon, and Arizona State will have the best resume of any one loss team. I don't know if they can make it through with one loss, but if they do, there will need to be two unbeatens to keep USC out.
