I'd like to add that that line up has got to be the toughest WPT FT by a mile.

Look, I know and love John like few others on this board, and definitely respect Jeff's play, and obv BG is the man, but this FT not only isn't the strongest, it's probably not top 5. GO ahead and fanboi, but you should probably keep things in perspective. This isn't close to toughest "by a mile". Here's other WPT final tables that at least compare very favorably vs WPT Niagara, and most are far better, (not counting invitationals, and of course, opinions will vary).

Season 1:
Five Diamond World Poker Classic: Gus Hansen, John Juanda, Kassem "Freddy" Deeb, John Hennigan, Chris Bigler, Scotty Nguyen

World Poker Finals - 2002: Howard Lederer, Layne Flack, Andy Bloch, Phil Ivey, Peter Giordano, Ron Rose

WPT Championship - Season 1: Alan Goehring, Kirill Gerasimov, Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Ted Forrest, James Hoeppner

Season 2

Legends of Poker 2003:Mel Judah,Paul Phillips, T.J. Cloutier, Chip Jett, Farzad Bonyadi, Phil Laak

Five Diamond World Poker Classic 2003: Paul Phillips, Dewey Tomko, Gus Hansen, Abe Mosseri, Tino Lechich, Mel Judah.

PartyPoker Million III Erick Lindgren, Daniel Negreanu, Chris Hinchcliffe, Steve Zolotow, Barry Greenstein, Scotty Nguyen

Season 3:

Borgata Poker Open 2004 Daniel Negreanu, David Williams, Josh Arieh, Chris Tsiprailidis, Brandon Moran, Phil Ivey.

Festa Al Lago III:Juan Carlos Mortensen, Thang "Kido" Pham, David Pham, Erik Seidel, Hung La, John Juanda

World Poker Finals 2004: Tuan Le, Temperance Hutter, Humberto Brenes, Brad Berman, J. C. Tran, David Pham

LA Poker Classic 2005 Michael Mizrachi, Haralabos Voulgaris, Hung La, Ted Forrest, Erick Lindgren, Harley Hall

Hell, cases can even be made for John's other 2 final tables, especially if we are handing out huge props for online cred.

Either way, yes, tough table, good lineup, but let's not get carried away.

I'm not trying to make the argument that this is "the" toughest WPT FT ever, but Daliman the first one you cited was like ridiculously weak.
