I believe it is a $5 million lawsuit. Fairly unpleasant stuff.

But, they're not really going to bring a broke reality-show contestant into court and try to sue him are they? And if they did, wouldn't it probably be good for that person in terms of publicity, etc?

Hard to say; there is no precedent. I'm quite sure CBS would try to get a pound of flesh from somewhere.

You gotta check out this site when the season starts. They rip all the contestants a new one. Some funny [censored]. It'll be interesting to see their reaction to Ballande.

i met a girl who is a masseuse at foxwoods who told me jrb flew her to vegas to train him for survivor china. I was talking to her abouta month ago and i believe he was gone already.

her TR on desert bicycle riding was funny since she told me that he was "pretty out of shape and huffing and puffing to keep up" she turned around to see how far back he was and took a header into the pavement. funny stuff since she was a bimbo w/ a 8.5 body and a 0.2 personality.

Either way, I think it's a brilliant move by JRB. He'll get tons of exposure and will get lucrative sponsorship opportunities to play on tour. No matter if he wins or not, I think he'll ultimately make more with sponsorships than the million the actual winner gets.

VNH Sir!

SSucks is one of my all time favorite boards during the showings. The effort that some of the people put into watching each character and charting how they were edited (edgic - editing and logic) is amazing and almost always right on for determining the final few left at each seasons end. It's been hinted that Burnett (the Producer) purposely has his editors try and mislead people to make edgic harder. A few seasons ago the winner turned out be a woman whose editing was UTR (under the radar) for almost the entire season. Plus, the spoilers are kept to their own threads.

the rumor was that he did get in trouble over the news leaking out, but not enough to keep him from going anyway. so he's 100% on survivor this season.

didn't hear anything about him winning, though - if true that ought to make for some big bets on WSEX

I'm surprised that some gambling sites offer lines on Survivor since everyone involved in the show knows who the final 2 or 3 are. Add the fact that the winner isn't revealed for another five months and you can see that everyone who has the inside info can make a lot of money by wagering on the winner. Of course, you would have to have someone else place the bet under their name and account.
