I hate calling and leading turn...it just lets an aggressive player give up on his bluff. Donking the turn small also lets him call and call river without us getting all the money in if he has a hand like KJ.

Either 3-bet the flop to like 55 and reverse yeti him, or call and make a decision on the turn. If he bets small I prob call and then check/call his river push. If he bets enough that he wont think he has enough FE to continue his bluff on the river then I just c/r the turn.

My thoughts as well.

Turn went c-c and the river as well.

He had 5-high.

I was pretty sure that whatever he felt he could raise the flop with, for value, he would bet the river with.

I feel his range is severely polarized towards trips/monster or draw/air. When the turn goes c/c I want to give him another chance to bluff; and he is betting his trips anyway.

i don't think his range is polarized, a min rr on a paired board can often be anything including a T (which won't always bet river) or 99 or 88 etc. iow, once turn goes ch ch i'm assuming he won't bet river but me call w/ something like a T

donkey4life is such an aggronut bag I'd just shove and watch him snap call with KQ

[/ QUOTE ]

everyone would call with KQ here. this is not anything special.

call, lead turn. i see the point of your betting $15 but i'd really prefer 19+ because it's just more consistent with an aggressive style.

I cannot comprehend why anyone would call the flop and donk the turn, does anyone really bluff like that? I mean honestly.

yeah i changed my mind, just 3bet. people never minraise/fold cause they expect you to come over the top.

if you are a normal tag, 3bet flop all day vs this particular villain.

if you are a nit, call, and c/c turn, c/c river.

edit: also, donking a blank turn is pretty awful imo.
