Re: Cake Poker Gold Card issue
[ QUOTE ]
I've chatted about this with some of the folks on the tables over the weekend. There doesn't seem to be any negative feeling about this, even on the short-handed games. [/ QUOTE ] That's because the players there aren't advanced enough to be able to use the information you get from the gold cards. |

That's because the players there aren't advanced enough to be able to use the information you get from the gold cards. [/ QUOTE ] Then you should be able to crush them with your advanced knowledge of gold card strategy! Now that the gold card snipers have been neutralized, the games should become that much more juicy. |

Re: Cake Poker Gold Card issue
Cake poker remains playable for US players?
will it stay that way? |

Re: Cake Poker Gold Card issue
That is the plan, Climber. With big sites like Tilt and Stars sticking with the US as well, we're not the only ones who are going to stand beside US players.

Re: Cake Poker Gold Card issue
Update: To clear up how the Gold Card 'Sniping' fix works, here's the new rules:
A player must have been dealt cards in X% (we're not saying the percent as we're tweaking it, but it's under 50%) of the raked hands between the last Gold Card awarded at the tables and the new Gold Card. If a Gold Card is drawn from the Vault and it matches a card held by an ineligable player, the Gold Card is returned to the Vault and the next hand is dealt. At the end of the next hand, a new Gold Card is drawn and again the table will try to match it to a player. Hope this helps clear everything up. =) Doug |
