Bad idea to put it to the felt on the flop. Call... bet/fold turn, c/r allin is fine too. [/ QUOTE ] This is definitely what I would do. I'm surprised people are saying to fold to the small flop raise (and I'm laughing at "KK being in his range"). |

[ QUOTE ] Also... just because a person is TAG doesn't mean he won't occasionaly limp a big pocket pair (like Kings) preflop [/ QUOTE ] Villian is BB. He has KK here approximately never. [/ QUOTE ] How many pots have been lost because you assume someone can't possibly have BLANK. "They would have raised Kings" or "this player would never call a bet with an inside straight draw...." Against an aggro, people make all sorts of preflop slowplays. They check their aces or kings. Its not the 'usual' play... which is why its sometimes done. |

Just because there exists an occasion when it happens doesn't mean it should affect our strategy.

Just because there exists an occasion when it happens doesn't mean it should affect our strategy. [/ QUOTE ] You act as if its rare. People slowplay big hands, including preflop, against aggressive players all the time. Especially if the hand is going to be heads up. Your strategy should include the possibility of a slowplayed hand, should it not? |
