So Kayla invited me over to watch some stupid show she likes tonight, after she got out of work.

I go over and her roommate, who I often joke with and poke fun at, is off limits today, Kayla tells me. Ok, she must be having a terrible day, I won't make fun of her, fine.

So as time passes I see that her friend seems very "out of it." And I discreetly ask Kayla what is wrong with her/what happend.

I am informed that she took 22 of her anti-depressant pills.

About 5 minutes later we hang up with poison control and go to drive her to the hospital.

There's 2 hospitals across the street from each other, under 2 miles away.

1 is a Veteran's Hospital and one is the one we're supposed to go to.

Kayla and I took my car while the others (overdosed girl and 3 others) went in another car.

Kayla and I drive right to the hospital and the idiots take her to the veteran's hospital. She starts seizing in the car as they are pulling in. They treat her despite it being a hospital for veteran's. She is being kept overnight and seems to be ok now.

Brag: I may have saved a girls life.

Beat: I made a funny, but awfully mean spirited joke at the ER.

Variance: I showed restraint and stopped myself 80% through the joke.
