Re: 55$ QJ sorted UTG. blinds 50/100
Imagine a table of regulars, where everybody think that if you raise UTG you must have a GOOOOD hand because you are yourself a regular and a huge winning player. Don't you think a raise is so better than you thought at this time ?

shillx: QJs is one of my favorite shoving hands too, but I think it's pretty bad right here. You just aren't that desperate. [/ QUOTE ] i'm with $hillx. |

This is a $55 sng, this table is not full of huge winning regulars and you have a really easy choice. You might want to try that play on a 2k on tilt where everyone gives you credit for just NOT pushing, but this just wont happen on this level. |

Re: 55$ QJ sorted UTG. blinds 50/100
it is pretty common to have 2 or even 3 other regulars ( depending of the time when you play ) in this game at this moment of the Sngo.
So I think my argument has some value. |

Re: 55$ QJ sorted UTG. blinds 50/100
and then they'll think 'oh wait why hasnt that guy pushed? he is either a donk (likely) or a huge winning player guy thinking out of boxes and stuff (unlikely)' so they'll either push, sensing your weakness (likely) or fold (crediting you for something you neither are nor have)[unlikely], and then, there are still those regular donks who think theire A5s might be some kind of a hand and happily push you.

it is not because that qj sorted is not the nut that 7 2o is the same hand.
Mmmmmm your last argument is terribly suspicious |

You're turning your hand into 72o since you're not going to call a reraise and no one is going to just call against an UTG raiser. |
