I've got an original of the Maverick book, not so great "poker wisdom" but I'd never throw it out.

This one is so bad, it's good reading, for a laugh. Or give it to your enemys

Online Poker by Doyle is easily the worst, and I own virtually everything.

You, my friend, obviously do not own a copy of this little gem CNLHT by Rock Banker. Oh yes, search inside.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh no, I searched inside. This is hideous.

lol @ "Rock Banker"

I lent "Play Poker Like The Pros" to a buddy. That was well over a year ago. I've never asked for it back. Kinda the same thing as throwing it away.

This is the same thing that happened to my copy. I kinda miss the Razz section, though.

That PokerFarce book from 2+2. Bad on every level except as amusement. On that level, it is atrocious. Hated having it in the house while waiting for a buyer on Amazon.

A good alternative name for this could be, have you ever bought a book for laughing value.

You can actually buy this at the Bike for $5, I was sifting and about fell on the floor.

And of coarse, you need not worry about learning the Kelly Criterion with his expert advice found here.

I agree with Poker the Real Deal. But I do appreciate it because it is how I found out about the very basics, and 2+2. After being robbed a year ago, I never thought to rebuy it though.

I did return Psychology of Poker, and lent out NLTP and never bothered asking for it back.

Does anyone besides me sit at Borders and give the book a 50% read before buying the book on Amazon?

You know that Ken Warren has a hand named after him? I believe it's 34s that's known around the world as a "Ken Warren".

That was the first book I read. How did that guy get so many books in the bookstores? Up until a couple years ago, his books were always on display.

He did have a couple good high level statements about poker that were pretty decent IMO.

Has anyone ever seen that guy at a poker event anywhere?
