Ten or twelve years ago our water polo team was on a trip to Dallas for a tournament. One of my teammates brings along his girlfriend for the ride. We had been drinking quite a bit before and during the flight and my buddy sneaks off with the girlfriend to join the club. While they were gone, another buddy stands up and proceeds to tell the entire plane what was happening and it would be nice to give the couple a hand when they got out.

Fortunately they took it in stride when the entire plane gave them a round of applause!

Does it count if you're in flight but less than a mile in the air? Typically helicopters fly well below a mile.

FWIW I'm a pilot.

The "real" mile high club is joined when at least one of the participants is piloting the aircraft at the time.

The other mile high club isn't quite as special, particularly when overseas flights have bedroom available in first class. There are also charter "mile high" flights for those that want to shell out the cash.

The "rules" are basically have sex to orgasm (with someone in addition to yourself) at an altitude in excess of 5280 feet AGL.

Nope - you need to be 5280 feet AGL (Above ground level) or higher.

I agree. hj imo are not that great... bj are 10x better on average.
