Are you serious?

Come back when you've experienced not just one, but a never-ending series of catastrophic downswings. Claw your way back up for two months, then lose it all in one week to continuous suckouts. Rinse, repeat.

After a couple of years of those you'll be so far past anger that you won't even remember what it was like. Your best friend could steal your girlfriend, clean out your bank account, drink all your booze, plant kiddie porn on your computer and call the FBI, filet your cat, wreck your car (after canceling your insurance), and you'll just shrug and move on.

You've got to have balance in your life. Even the guys making $500,000 a year playing poker could benefit from balance. It can be as simple as taking 5 hr/wk for a class at the local community college, just to get some human interaction on an even playing field. Make that class basic stats and you're helping your poker game in the process.

Also, keep in mind that it's much harder to remain intensely pissed off without making a fist. Set your hands flat on something for three seconds before doing anything and you'll break less stuff.

Don't think weed is a sure-fire cure. Some people don't get along with the sweet leaf. I tend to get ultra-paranoid and pissed off that I can't remember the end of any sentences I start, and as such don't smoke. Some people like it, but be open to the idea that you don't have to like doing it yourself to hang out with them.

Experiencing huge downswings pretty much makes every other horrible event in your life bearable.

The downside is that people might get offended by you, because you just don't really care about longterm irrelevant reallife accidents. Yeah, sounds strange, but happened to me already a couple of times.

If you know you are a winning player, there's no reason to get upset about taking beats. The problem is knowing you're a winning player. Everyone thinks they are, but almost everyone doubts it ever so often when they're running bad. Once you have a real big sample size, and you look at the ups, downs, and breakevens you've been through, and know that you are DEFINATELY a winning player, it's a lot easier to shrug off beats. Have faith in your playing ability and accept the fact probabilities are as they are. I broke even for 3.5k games (about 3 months) and I'm really glad I did. Now taking a beat or going on a downswing doesn't bother me at all. If I do it 100 more times I make money, right? If you can't accept this I would suggest: Main Lobby>Requests>Responsible Gaming>Exclude me from playing...
