Why are they punting with 5 minutes left down by 10? TMQ always seemed to indicate that Bellichick would never call a stupid punt to keep the score close.

How far back do you have to be for punting and hoping for a turnover to be the better play?

I can't believe they went for it on 4th and 1 there. Kick the figgie, keep the game going. Even Mike Nolan knows to do that.

I'm trying to understand how a professional coach, well-respected and successful, could do something as monumentally stupid as not kick the field goal there. There aren't words to describe how bad of a decision that is...

I'll be the first to admit that I don't know much about sports betting, but the one thing I do know is that Broncos vs. Pats is e-z money.

i dont know a lot about football strategy, but my main question was with 5 minutes to go at 4th and 10, should the pats have gone for it, or was punting correct there?

Punting was absolutely retarded in that spot and sadly, 31 other coaches would've done the same thing.

umm.. why didn't they kick the field goal on 4th and 1? Is it just because the pats were rollin'?
