Two color decks blow.

The four color deck is Mike Caro's greatest contribution to poker.

Jourdain,

It's very obvious that you spend most of your time in NVG.

Only when you are 8 years old.

Are you really that dumb that you can't see that there are no disadvantages to using a 4 color deck, it has nothing to do with being able to tell the difference between clubs and spades.

Different strokes for different folks, some people still use wooden golf clubs too.

4-colour decks are way, way easier to use, hence why I use it always.

Why does a standard deck have 2 colors?

[/ QUOTE ]
if you'd meant it differently, you would've made a good point there :P since when are clubs/clovers black and diamonds red anyway? 4 colours seem more logical to me

Not sure what you thought I meant, but it certainly wasn't what I meant. My point was the only reason a deck has two colors instead of one is for ease of quickly identifying suits. Therefore, a four suit color deck is a futher extrapolation of that concept. Which colors are used is meaningless. Two suit colors = easier than one suit color. Four suit colors = easier than two suit colors.
