Is it just me or does this open the door to justifying ANY behavior? DOes that strike you as a path toward the optimal society? Deal me out.

I just believe that the first two statements were equivalent, so nothing to argue. And your second set of statements showed a simplistic view of animals, which I was stating. So there was nothing to dispute in your statement.

Of course, I didn't say in what capacity I work for the govt. So FWIW, I'm a former AF officer who now works for the AF as a DoD civilian.

Ironic that a right-winger like you would trash me for my service to the country. ... But not surprising.

A little bit OT for this thread, but over the years I have read many statements of the form "Man is the only animal that ...". I don't recall any of them being correct.
