Re: Practice for 50 beers in 24 hours challenge
[ QUOTE ]
This is so gay. 50 beer is 24 hours is so easy. In our student bar we have a 24 hour contest every year. The idea is to drink as much "ad fundums" as possible. All time Record stands at 124. The average winner has around 80-85 [/ QUOTE ] 124 drinks in 24 hours would put a person at roughly 3 times the amount it would take to kill an adult male who is 300 lbs. |

highlife,
I think often times in these threads people consider puking fair game. At least this is the only way that his claim could be remotely true. |

Re: Practice for 50 beers in 24 hours challenge
puking 100 % has to be part of it... otherwise everyone is absolutely lying... with puking this doesn't seem liek the hardest of challenges... without, i mayhave been able to do it 3 years ago but definitely not now

It's something that only the hardest of alcoholics, or the fatest of men are able to accomplish. [/ QUOTE ] I thik I qualify for both, and still have doubts I could do this. If there was $$$ on the line I probably could, I think id do 30 nap 20 |

Re: Practice for 50 beers in 24 hours challenge
EMc,
I certainly qualify for the first, but can't claim to be that big of a fatass. I'm no lightweight at 215 and think that this is boarderline possible for myself, but wouldn't feel very good taking a lot of action on it. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'd feel better putting my money on someone who at least has some doubt about if they can do it then on someone under the age of 22 who says it's EZ. The doubt proves that they've actually gone on benders before and shows they have a higher chance at success. Your strategy of 30 nap then 20 sounds about like what I'd do. The post nap beers are gonna get you drunk so fast though it would be unreel. Pretty hard to sleep off 30 beers in just a few hours. |

Re: Practice for 50 beers in 24 hours challenge
Just over 2 beers an hour for a full day... I truthfully feel like slow and steady wins the race here. If you get off to too fast of a start you could really screw yourself in the end. Just learn to pace yourself, obviously one of the qualities that many alcoholics lose after getting a couple drinks in them.
