Re: beirut ruling
[ QUOTE ]
ruit is probably the most intense game ever, i am ready and willing to lose friendships over ruit [/ QUOTE ] Right, except its beer pong. But ya, wtf was up with that string raise comment. This blows poker out of the water in terms of intensity, focus, everything..... you name it. Now get out and off of your computer and go play. |

Re: beirut ruling
I [censored] trained all summer so I could be in tip-top shape for the school year.
If that's a stretch, it's not a very far one... |

Re: beirut ruling
goofyballer is so right here imo.
in my experience, the people who take beer pong uber seriously are also pretty bad at the game. when they can't get a ball wet no matter what they do, they'll start complaining about leaning or that there's not enough beer in the cups. then if something strange happens they'll always call for a cup (if not two). ps i think bouncing is a fun addition to the game and to say that guys shouldn't do it is wrong. a nasty flat bounce is a much more impressive shot then hitting any single cup (this is assuming the table is relatively large of course). |

[/ QUOTE ] I can relate to you on a few points there. The people who call the leaning rule or any excuse for a cup are the people that are usually horrible at the game, they are also the ones who think they are gods gift to ruit/beerpong. I do not take the game 'uber' serously. But I do take it a little serious. I hate losing, espeically to people who suck. It's a fun game, I think everyone should learn it. But its a shame when players take it TOO seriously, its just not as fun to play when that happens. |

Re: beirut ruling
Yeah, I agree with the people getting pissed thing. Just to clarify my earlier post about getting pissed over losing at a crowded party, I never get pissed at another team. I just get irritated that I now have to wait way longer for beer.

Re: beirut ruling
Where do you people live where you call this game "beirut?"
I have only ever heard this on 2+2. Its always referred to as "beer pong" here. |
