bump for last minute Bachelor Party recomendations. I'm heading to Montreal tomorrow for three nights. Will definitely be checking out Solid Gold.
Usually when we go we just walk up and down Rue St Catherines and end up at this place called Cleopatra's which is fairly low-brow. Is there a better neighborhood to checkout for good strip clubs as well as conventional bars?

My 2 cents based on recent experience:
1) The dancers at Solid Gold seem to be phasing out the extra services. Also for the most part they're pretty meh in the looks department. There was only one dancer who was both reasonably attractive and offering extras. On the whole I was very surprised and disappointed given all the praise for this club on 2+2. 2) We went to Super Sexe early (8pm-ish) on a Thursday night. Big mistake. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that it was just a bad time for that club. 3) Disappointed with Super Sexe, we moved on to Kamasutra. The women at this club are phenomenal. No extra services as far as we could tell, but the full contact dances were well worth it.
