Default Re: (100NL) KK vs. 2p2er - retarded laydown?

Against a reg who doesn't 3b light I'd like to call his 3b preflop for set value.
If I 4bet I'm not going to fold.

The problem is his range. If he only does this w/ {AA, KK, QQ} then you are flipping. So you have to call the push on the flop. If you play a friend of mine though ... you'r up against aces or kings 100% of the time. He will setmine any other pair. Maybe he 3bets AK but he won't call your 4bet.

If you are tight and get 3bet by a tight regular ... this is the time to dodge KK vs AA. I'd prefere to play a small pot.

PS:
Against unknown this is a 4bet 24/7 ... stick it in on any non ace flop

[edit]
the 4bet size of the linkes HH differs from OP

folding here is pretty bad, the way you played pf and on flop you need to call the shove.

Call the flop. If you 3-bet preflop you simply must stack-off on most boards, and this board is a favourable one. Definitely +EV to call here.
