Re: The Office 11/8
The episode felt like the final scene was the idea for the show, so they just threw together some stuff to set up that scene. First 28 mins was very forgettable (some good laughs as always), but the last scene was def one of my favorites in a long time.
Does anyone know how many episodes have been filmed before everything stopped with the strike? |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Had some decent parts, but was a letdown overall. Very good end scene though. [ QUOTE ] but I think this season has been pretty good so they are allowed a week off. [/ QUOTE ] Yea except it looks like they're about to get a whole season off. [/ QUOTE ] I've liked this much better than Season 3 so far. [/ QUOTE ] I was referring to the strike. [/ QUOTE ] Oh....I was unaware of this. I'll have to read up on it. |

Re: The Office 11/8
The ending was great. The whole birthday plotline was kinda lame but I guess they needed it for the last scene. Dwight laying Michael out was funny even if it was over the top.

They were in the middle of making a new episode when the strike started, and they have completely shut down production. It doesn't look like they're making much headway in negotiations either. Enjoy next week's episode everyone, it could be a while... |

Re: The Office 11/8
i kind of assumed this whole season was already in the can. is that an outlandish presumption? figured they always film/edit the eps way in advance for television.

[/ QUOTE ] Well, I think there was a scheduled break after next week's episode anyways. You know how mid-season, The Office will usually take a 3-4 week break from time to time? I think we were coming up on one of those anyways, but now with the strike, there isn't going to be anything new for quite some time, and the whole season is in very real jeopardy. |

Re: The Office 11/8
this was the worst office episode i have ever watched. granted my roommate wasnt around and i find watching alone makes me dislike this show a lot more, but still.
the last bit was the only saving grace and it almost felt like they threw it in and made it so long because they knew the rest of the episode sucked. who the hell thought putting michael in the woods for almost a full episode was a good idea? normally the sentiment that even a bad episode of this is better than 90% of what is on tv, but i actually think this week was just bad...cavemen bad. |

Re: The Office 11/8
Yeah next week is the last new episode they have left and by the looks of it the strike's going to last several months so enjoy the office while it's still here.
