I think in my program/school's case, because everything is posted online (assignment/test dates, etc), theoretically you would only need to show up a few times each semester.
Of course, some of my classes have either in class, online quizzes in which the prof announces the password just before it's started, or you not only have to submit the assignment online but also in person. There's actually been a few people caught IM'ing the password to their at home buddies (they're being penalized I believe). As well, it seems like there's always a good number who just walk in one door, drop off the assignment and walk out the other, lol. |

what about tablet PCs does any body take notes with them? I've been thinking about getting one, so some incite into how well they work for other people would be nice

seems awful. why not just get a real laptop? only downside is that you can't draw/doodle, but how often do you need that? I use Microsoft OneNote which has a lot of MSPaint type functions and I've never had a problem copying diagrams or charts. |

Otherwise you type way faster anyway and got no use for it(apart for subjects where you need to draw graphs obv.) |
