[ QUOTE ]
Why did you post this then, if your so convinced it must be a set. I guess you want us to say FOLD, so fold. [/ QUOTE ] ?? I posted this to get some discussion going, thought it was an interesting hand. Isnt that what we are all here for ? |

Re: Fold set v LAG ?
[ QUOTE ]
I know everyone and their mother seems to be saying you should snap call, but my gut says to fold. From villain's perspective, the flop min raise either represents air or a strong hand. If villain had air and put you on air, he would likely bluff a smaller amount as it would accomplish the same goal. If villain has a set of tens or better, then he's better off making a big bet since in this situation any hand that calls a medium bet will also call a big bet. [/ QUOTE ] I think this is absolutely key to the whole hand, he knows im either very strong or very weak and still overbet pushes river. This only makes sense if he wants to be called. Some people mentioned earlier in the thread that my flop raise was bad and i think this may be true as it really defines my range as set or air\draw. Do most advocate calling on flop and seeing what develops despite the risk of letting in drawing hands cheap ? |
