online should have higher min buy ins realtive to a casino. Ina casino 1/2 nl is the lowest game they have. Online if you cant afford a buy in theres always a lower level where you can.

I tried shortstacking for like a week a few months ago on stars 25/50 to try to build up a roll to play full stacked but the variance was way too sick especially when short-stack hating regulars will call a shove with any 2. I tired to be as ethical as I could about it by not leaving when I doubled up and I would sit as deep as I got, and I would never interrupt a HU game or anything. Now that I'm playing with a fullstack at 3/6 - 10/20 I love the shorts stacks cause they are usually the worst players, but I could see how it would get annoying at 25/50 when the SS'ers actually know a good strategy. Still, I don't see how anything could be done about it without stars losing a lot of SS players, whereas there probobly arn't as many fullstackers who don't play at all because of the shortstackers. Oh and also I think 6max would be easier to rathole cause people are looser with their opening raises, but that's just my opinion.

data mining results have confirmed that the best short stackers are amongst the biggest winners over large samples.

Don't think saying stuff like the above is going to get people to stop shortstacking.

I've been shortstacking 25/50 lately, but I agree the buy-in should be increased. Make the min buy-in 40xBB or soemthing. In the mean time I certainly don't plan to stop because I'm making good money, it's not against any rule, and it's at most marginally unethical. I mean sure you're taking chips off the table, but you do have to wait the hour or whatever it is to sit back down so there's not much of an argument there imo. I've only played like 10K hands but I'm pulling in a pretty solid winrate, though I'm pretty sure I ran really hot over that period. I would imagine most shortstackers are beating the game for a pretty marginal winrate.

I agree 100% with everything being said against short stacking. They truly ruin the game and according to my stats i dont see any short stacker being that much of a winner.

As one hsp player said on a table, i dont see why they all dont go play black jack for 1k a hand. Most of the time they get their money in as slight favourites or dogs anyhow.

I would also like to bring up an old subject that i suggested earlier and that is when players are all in, the cards be shown ONLY TO THE PLAYERS AT THE TABLE while dealing the rest of the cards. In my opinion this somewhat eases the tension that exists while playing big pots. I think this should also be added to the email.
