I am notorious for early Monday happy hours. I have a friend who is a self-employed contractor who never fails to corrupt me. We'll meet at like 3-4PM (!) and roll a couple of games of Golden Tee while drinking ~30 oz steins of beer for $3 (happy hour pricing). Unfortunately they don't have Miller Lite on draft so I am stuck with Coors Light (Bud Light gives me a headache; I will only drink it for free). There is something subversive about drinking beer and effing off on a Monday afternoon that I find seductive.

The dude hasn't called me today for our Monday "tradition" and I'm hesitant to call him (I could use the break). Also, he's acquired an odd obsession with an old person dive bar next to the one we usually go to. My best guess is he wants to be the "Norm" of a bar somewhere and must see the one we usually go to as too hip/transient to pull that off. I introduced him to this other joint a couple of months ago, it's almost cool by virtue of being so uncool - old people, old furniture, old decor, old pictures, etc. On a whim we had a drink and then started going there regularly. Now he wants to meet there first for a drink, then come back afterwards. Hell, last Monday I left him there at about 6:30 and he told me the next day he stayed there by himself until about 10:00. Weird.

Dids is stalking me also he is even posting weird things on my myspace account. Who can stop the horror of dids? Perhaps we will never know the answer. In conclusion, dids is a man of many contrasts.

I don't normally drink Budweiser either. I got inspired though by the previous reference. Corona, Heiniken and Rolling Rock would work too I guess. Not sure about Guiness and tacos though. Usually my taco consumption comes at the kind of place where you can get a Margarita. Consider that today is Monday and that many such places offer 2-for-1 Margarita-Monday type specials. Should also be noted that some of those types of places draw some cute girls after work-hours for Margarita-Mondays. [/ QUOTE ]

I don't know the history here, so please excuse any ignorant comments I may make.
Degen and I have had our differences in lifestyle and other topics, we certainly don't always see eye to eye. Still, if Dids is constantly bringing up unrelated issues in new threads, that is pretty uncool. If you don't like someone, or don't agree with how they handle themselves, why bother reading/posting in their threads? I'm not saying Dids doesn't have the right, but if it's only meant to antagonize and bring up past grievances, that's kinda silly. If Degen makes a post and you want to bash THAT specific post and rip it apart, well, I guess that's fine. But if Degen posts about leaving a $1 tip for a $10,000 bar bill and you post "I have pictures of Degen wearing adult diapers!" that isn't related to the initial topic at hand. EDIT: I'll start the bidding at $25 [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
