Im not sure how to put this but CMAR is kinda a big deal. Hes is like the most level headed player and poster who selflessly makes well prepared strat post fo the benefit of all the others. I have never really seen anything from him that would lead me to believe that he enjoys banning people. Dont assume everyone is as much a doushe as you are.

CMAR,

Your post does suck. You suck at analysis and math clearly. Saying so is merely fact. There are numerous and obv errors. Its pretty most of the 2p2 "group-think" has decided your post is awesome. Sorry to disappoint.

[/ QUOTE ]

I love posts like this. See how it gets its great and important point across with zero intelligence requirement.

What, precisely, are these numerous and obvious errors pray? Absent which, stfu why don't you.

Short Stackers seem to get pretty upset by any discussion about how to play against them. If it was really so horrible why say anything? I've loosened up against short stackers in the past two days, using part of the anlysis that CMAR did and mixing it into my style of play. I've had nice resulsts. I think the flames were definitely trolling. No discussion of strategy from pretty much useless posters that get most of their high content posts in BBV4Life

I like CMAR and don't mind him modding at all. I never saw pete's post so I can't comment on whether or not it was banworthy. However, I really don't think imsa earned his ban. Also, if we are going to call what he did trolling then probably 75% of the forum should be banned, including myself for the one liners we all post when people post retarded "fold KK preflop?" or "fold middle set on the 279 flop?" threads.

Also, fwiw imsa was a pretty good 1/2 FR player before he started shortstacking so I would value his advice if he wanted to start posting. MT2R or imsa, could you please pm me pete's response?

Also, there is exactly one sentence that bothers me in that whole thread as a SS and I'm sure as hell not telling any of you what it is.

Saying things like he is "kinda a [sic] big deal" and talking about his posting record shows that you've missed the point. Whether or not someone posts well is irrelevant to a claim about their modding.

If saying nothing more than "this thread sucks" got you banned, just about every poster on this site would be banned. Not to mention whatever Ima got banned for. It appears (obv we cant know too much since the post(s) in question is/are deleted) that the ban had more to do with the fact that the offending post came in one of CMARs threads and/or the tension between shortstackers and fullstackers than the content of the post itself.

If you can provide a well reasoned argument (and not some appeal to irrelevant information) why this opinion makes me a "doushe", Im all ears.
