Preflop: I certainly don't cap this hand out of position. I would lean more toward calling than folding though, because the 3-bet came from the LAG.
Flop: Given your preflop cap I would probably lead but fold if it came back two more to you. Given that you checked and it came back two more to you, you should definitely fold.
Turn: Stop spewing chips and just fold.
River: Excellent spot for check-folding.

In conclusion, you need to fold more.

I hate the cap PF.

Why are you check calling two cold here on the flop?

The turn is just ugly IMO.

On the river, I'd check fold with two, and like you said, check call with one opponent.

I'd call PF.

I'd fold to the 2-bet on the flop.

If I got to the turn, I'm def. check/folding.

Seems like a spew to me.

Here's how I would play it. First of all, MP3 is not just a LAG. Anyone with those stats is at least semi-maniacal and may even be a complete maniac (the difference between the two as I define them is that a semi-maniac will cap any two preflop but is actually capable of slowing down on later streets, whereas a complete maniac will frequently cap all the way to the river). Anyway, this means that your goal with any decent hand is to isolate the (semi-)maniac. The big problem here is that you can't, primarily because the button called 3 cold. Had he folded, I'd say capping preflop would be the right play because it would make it easier for you to get rid of MP2. But here, you know the flop is going to be at least 3-handed and likely 4-handed because of the odds MP2 is getting, so it seems better to call two cold and then see what develops. If MP2 caps, proceed accordingly (i.e., you won't get him to fold a better hand). If he doesn't cap, you may get a chance to push him out later depending on the exact action.

Anyway, as it turned out, there was too much chip spewage in this hand, but your play wasn't nearly as horrible as some would make it out to be.

ok, so i agree with everyone that this was pretty much spewage on the flop and turn, i guess i fugured i still had the best hand some portion of the time and wanted to do whatever i could to protect it, but being OOP, it was probably best to just let it go

my preflop cap was for value, i really thought my hand was pretty far ahead of their ranges, but it may have been better to just keep the pot a bit smaller since i was OOP so that i could just let it go if i didnt hit a favorable flop

anyway, the river went check, check, check, MP2 had T8 and MP3 had A6 and MHING
