does a 16/11 even open KJs/J10s utg?

[/ QUOTE ]

no one really acknowledged this, but i think this is a pretty good point. definitely lends some credibility to 3betting the flop, which i hated at first

as a recovering 16/11, i can attest that 16/11s will open KJs JTs utg, depending on who's behind them, image, etc..

now what would really shock me would be a "pretty aggressive" 16/11 checking aces full on this river. i think this deep you can push him off 8s full+ flushes here with a big bet. also, his flop c/r just doesn't really make sense for a set. i'd expect a flopped set to bet out or c/r big, which leads me to believe there's a good chance he flopped the bigger flush here or has KdQ, which should be easier to push him off of than the boat.

i take my time and make a value bet of $295.
