Ah yes..... I was specifically thinking about the morning after.

During the binge in question, there really is no subsitute for those 7 pints, scotch and chicken vindaloo. For me, there's nothing quite like a skanky geordie lass for topping the night off to perfection!

Straight up rotgut rail gin is my standard drink. And preferably from bars that serve it in styrofoam cups.

Awesome--I'm guessing you're a fellow reader of Modern Drunkard. Also, gin and tonics stop being marginal when they're over 50% gin.

QFT. The only downside is anyone can smell gin on you.

Skoob,

Stellar.

Is the fact that I currently alternate liquor stores so as to avoid seeing the same sales people too often a sign that I have a problem. Or how about when I am filling up that little shopping cart and the clerk remarks "Looks like somebody's having a party." and I think to myself "W Tee Eff, this is all for me."

LOL, it makes me sad that I can relate, but I do tend to be a bit paranoid anyway.

I'm partial to "Fleishmann's" gin myself. I drank so much of it, I don't like the top shelf stuff any more.

Boodles is my favorite gin and it's a steal for around $18 a bottle. I've tried several $30 and $40 gins and I still prefer it. Boodles has a clean mellow taste and makes an excellent martini-- in and out lightly shaken with a twist if you're buying.

Well, my drink of choice is bourbon on the rocks, so I've pretty much accepted that I'm going to smell like booze regardless. The weirdest thing about it is that several girls I've hooked up with have said "you smell like my dad" and then continued making out with me. They didn't seem weirded out by it or anything, it was just something they thought of at the time.

In case anyone is unfamiliar with it, Modern Drunkard is the best magazine being published today. Check it out, you can thank me later.

What's your brand? I recently started drinking bourbon on the rocks as my staple (though, usually with a beer or two to go along). There is a fairly limited selection at the nearest bottle shops, but as a long-time Hunter S. Thompson fan, I'm not ashamed to drink Wild Turkey.

Any advice you can give on this important topic would be appreciated.
