Meh, in the end it's a car, not a [censored] space shuttle or something. [/ QUOTE ] heh, thats funny, when me and my friends in college used to get high and drive around on empty country roads at night, i sometimes felt like my car was a spaceship. i dont do it anymore, nor would i really recommend it, but i think its significantly less bad than driving drunk, IF you're a very experienced smoker and just be cool. |

Re: A Little BBV On the Way to the Casino
why is everyone angry???
OP said he was swerving because he was looking for the right exit. AMIRITE?? Don't get the speeding part though, I'm usually going 15-25 under the limit when having smoked. |

Re: A Little BBV On the Way to the Casino
FWIW, I didn't realize it was a construction zone for good reason.
About 2 minutes before, I had endured driving on the highway while cones/barricades blocked all but one lane (and about half of the only lane open, almost forcing me to drive on the shoulder) for about 5 miles while there was all kinds of [censored] in the one lane and I swear to god I passed a smoke machine or something halfway through that left me totally blinded for a second and was incredibly confusing considering the closed lanes looked perfectly fine. My friend and I honestly wondered if we accidentally started driving in the one lane that was closed while the others were fine, instead of vice-versa since we were the only car in the area. So finally the one lane driving ends, and so I assumed so did the construction. So I pick up the pace a bit (usual speed limit is 75, so barely even speeding), failing to realize that the assorted cone I'd pass every 10 seconds or so was actually a sign that we were still in the construction zone. Also, I probably wasn't swerving at all, but when you don't realize you're doing anything more than 5-10 mph over the limit (again, thought we were in a 75 zone), and you're pulled over, fright makes you say stupid things. Oh, more variance: lost like $150 playing the new retarded NL games at the Tampa Hard Rock (100 max 1/2). |

Re: A Little BBV On the Way to the Casino
Country cruising, I did that once before.
I said it in another thread and i'll mention it again. Not trying to antagonize anybody, just some food for thought. The inherent problem is not driving under the influence (even though it might currently be the practical problem) but the fact that every single [censored] person has a license and a car. I mean, [censored] everybody. It's a given, and driving under the influence of stupidity and driving with a severe lack of skill is the root of everything. IMHO. |

Re: A Little BBV On the Way to the Casino
[ QUOTE ]
[x] Thread delivers [x] probably going to hell for enjoying it [ ] pics [/ QUOTE ] I'll make sure to pose with the officer next time. Will take picture of ticket + couple grams that are now left + nice pipe I bought. The story of the pipe is almost worth telling. I flew back into town Monday afternoon, call up my friend to pick me up that night, he stops by with the bud, but we have nothing to smoke out of, so I call 411 for the number of the only headshop in town, call them at 9:20 and ask what time they close. The guy on the phone says they close at 9:00 and he's closing up. But he'll stay open -- if it's an emergency. Reminder, I didn't call the hospital, I called the headshop with an "emergency." I tell him I'll just take a small pipe, he says he'll stay open for 15 minutes and wait. So we drive over, get there at 9:45, I pick out a nice pipe that's like $70, he says he'll give it to me for $50, I say sure and leave him a $20 tip for staying open and because he was possibly distantly related to Tommy Chong, or just really old and really high. |

jesus, driving drunk is nothing compared to driving high. driving high is 100x better than driving sober.
