hahaha thanks cbloom. but yea, those three cities are easily worse than any other cities on those lists(like LA and NY) because of such ratios. Kinda sucks to live less than 3 miles from the worst part of 1 of those cities, and about 10 miles from the other...at least I get some "culture" though huh?

LOL. Toronto, and Montreal are no colder than any Northeastern US city.

Chicago and Detroit are the only cities on that list which qualify as northeastern. And MAYBE NY

Edit: obviously poverty is a factor in crime stats. NY and Chicago aren't too bad per capita compared to Baltimore or DC(which I have experience with) and Detroit has a piss poor economy.
