So, hot chocolate before bed is still probably not a good idea.

When I first started playing this happened to me too. The more final tables you make, the less it'll effect you. Just keep doing well and then winning 10 g's is just another night.

Or Wake girlfriend/wife tell her how much you won...talk...quit talking .... 20 minutes later sleep like baby...... Hold it! Don't babys wake up crying all the time??? What is it with that saying????

Heh, there's a line in one of John Swartzwelder's books where a character, after being beaten to a pulp in a police cell, says "I slept like a baby - waking up screaming and crapping my pants every two hours".

I usually lay in bed with my eyes closed and reflect on one or two key hands that made or break that particular tourney..I'll review other ways to play the hand, make some conclusions and typically that sort of analysis exhausts me to the point that I fall asleep within 10 minutes. if the heart is still racing after this, i'll pop on some soft music for a complete distraction from poker
