1) Did try, program froze. When I forced it closed and reopened it, same problem.

2) Sure I did. I also ran a power cycle on my modem and bypassed the router, connecting straight to the box.

3) I have only a handful of poker playing friends, none that have any idea what they're doing.

4) Well this one is straight impossible.

Like other people said, this is actually your fault as you were using the beta. When you use the beta, you accept the risk that there will be problems. I had no problems with it for a bit, then it start crashing continuously. So couldn't play beta, and wouldn't play full size tables for sngs, so ring it is.

I'm a little bothered by people saying it's his "fault" because he was using the beta. Like it's my fault when I get my money all in as a 80% to 1 favorite and lose. It's not my fault I lost, but it is something I need to accept.

I am a little impressed that it happened twice to him though

Nobody has said it had to do with software. I simply mentioned I was using the beta. The beta should have NOTHING to do with connection problems, as all the players play on the same servers.

And Durron, there is certainly nobody on 2+2 I trust playing on my account. I love you all though.

But if it's not the ISP and nobody else at the table is having problems and you're blaming it on Party... Sure sounds like you're blaming the software.

another way is to install both versions on your computer, and if the beta crashes, restart the regular version.

His response was that sometimes this happens. Players randomly can't connect to the servers.

It froze after "Establishing connection..." and "Connection lost..." messages flashed for 15 minutes. I closed it and reopened it, and I had the same connection problems.
