Unfortunately the US government did their best to ruin the industry with unread short sighted knee jerk bills past in the middle of the night. I still have hopes that regulation of the industry in the US will bring the masses back, but it's difficult to know if it will happen yet.

Consider this.... Very few ( I would venture to guess less than 1%) of all poker players make as much as a dentist.

I agree with this and OP, if you had a son or daughter and he or she asked you the same question that you are asking us.. what would you say to them?
