Re: 300 BB deep - straight flush
I think there is absolutely zero chance villain folds a jack. Why do we assume villain folds because of the stacks? I doubt villain adjusts his game to the depth of the stacks. The more likely scenario is he sees he has jacks full and calls.

Re: 300 BB deep - straight flush
If he sees the 100$ he'll be scared i think.
He might 3bets our raise. |

Re: 300 BB deep - straight flush
Raising small to hope villain 3 bets seems like it will work significantly less than just raising big and hoping he calls. If villain is iffy about calling a big bet, then why would he be inclined to shove himself? His AF is not huge, and his PFR is not huge either.

Re: 300 BB deep - straight flush
My eyes hurt. Im gonna hope I misread this whole hand, and it went something like this
Party Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LeggoPoker Hand History Converter Hero (UTG): $145.39 MP: $54.28 CO: $50 BTN: $32.49 SB: $171.95 BB: $5.75 Pre-Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG) Hero raise to $2.0, 3 folds, SB calls, BB calls Flop: ($6) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $5.00 , SB calls, BB folds Turn: ($16) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB checks, Hero bets $12.00, SB does something but a least hero got some value SB is a 30/15/1.5 OP this whole hand up till the river is just yuck. As played, overbet is fine here, Make it like 12ish, then kick yourself for slowplaying into this mess. OTOH if you raised PF you might notve seen the flop and never flopped a straight flush/ (Sorry if I sound jaded, a full day of studying will do that to ya) |
