This guy pick the wrong fight. Cops have a saying, "You might beat the rap, but you won't beat the ride."

This guy will be whistling all the way to the bank when CC (and maybe the city?) pays him to make this go away. Sounds like an excellent place to pick a fight to me.

Anyone else notice how Copernicus's position has morphed from his initial "this guy is absolutely wrong, I'm right!" to now opening up the possibility that this guy isn't wrong? Much like the argument for WMD's being in Iraq or Clinton not having "sexual relations with that woman".

He will lose money on legal fees and I don't think he will win a dime.... I would bet you on this but unfortunately if a settlement is reached there always seems to be a stipulation that you can't reveal any monetary damages.

Even if this is true, which of course you have no way of knowing and seems dubious to me, this doesn't mean he picked the wrong battle.

I'm willing to bet that in the long run he will consider this to be a good fight to have chosen.

In 1755, 3 pastors were scourged to death in the middle of town for not acquiring a license to preach. These men were willing to give their lives rather than be enslaved by the state via a license.

I wonder what they would think of all the licenses we have today? and taxes!

After reading the three pages of this post ……

….I can’t help but wonder whether Kopernicus is secretly attempting to outdo Barfthis for the 2+2 title of “Champion of Obfuscation and Use of Pretzel Logic”?

You’ve got to hand it to him however; he certainly provides a foil and some sort of perverse entertainment by continually posting his drivel here on 2+2.

2+2 would be much more boring without those two……or is it one posting as two?

Why dont you try responding to an issue instead of vague personal attacks? Youre the queen of one liners and posts that have no substance.

To answer your question......

.....I've learned to avoid arguing with idiots as they bring the discussion down to their level and beat you with their "logic".

Oops.....Another one liner, I'll leave it to others to decide how substantial it is in this particular case.

Right, people that don't agree with you are idiots.
