Why not just use all of the OSes you like and/or need. I love OS X. The new Mactel machines are dandy and all but a new Wintel machine is el cheapo (spanish for the cheapo.)

Also, I'd probably wait to get a new Mac when the next line of machines come out anyway. I think Jobs may have underhyped the newer stuff not to stop sales of current machines.
