If we're talking about non-winners, then what about that fat bastard in the top hat? I don't think I've ever watched old footage of the WSOP without him sitting at the final table.

And who the hell was he anyway?

Edit: OK, I've done a google search for "fat bastard top hat WSOP" and it seems he was called Ken Smith. I wonder if he was still playing, whether he'd have 'pokerstars.net' emblazoned across the front of it.

Ken Smith was also an accomplished chess player, he died about 10 years ago.

Moneymaker.

He beat farha heads up and only aba has been able to do that. And since aba is the greatest cash game player, moneymaker must be the best tourney player.
