A few years ago, a guy I know was upset with me because he thought I was after his girlfriend. The reason for this was because, one night after they had a fight, she flirted with me for a while before they made up. So he was drinking with a friend of his at the bar we frequent, who happened to be a very big guy who was a real nasty drunk. I gather that he spent several hours telling this guy what a jerk I was because, when I went to the bathroom, the guy stood up and cracked a left hook right into the side of my head. I was stunned for a second, and I don't know what the guy was thinking because if he'd pressed the attack I would have been finished, but I recovered enough to know that I needed to counter attack and the guy and I ended up going toe to toe for a while before we were pulled apart. I probably got the best of the battle, but I took a lot of punishement too. I'll never figure out why, if the first guy thought I was messing with his girlfriend, he didn't just try and fight me himself instead of sicing his big-ass friend on me.

I actually said "You're fat" to a fat girl in my 2nd grade class that had cut in front of me to use the water fountain. Actually, I'm telling myself that now but I'm not even completely sure she had even cut in front of me. Have no idea what prompted me to say it other than verbal diarrhea, I was generally a very nice kid. Regardless, seemed to really hurt the girl's feelings.
Irony of ironies, the two of us are good friends now. Go figure.
