This is what I am getting at is that el thought that he had a strong enough read on this person to make a bet that large after showing strength throughout the hand that the villian would call with a hand he could beat with his flush (even after the board paired). To me I find that really interesting and would love to dive into why he thought that. I find this as the reason why he does so well, and would like to learn more. I also like to make bets like that at the end, however, when they are called, I notice that most of the time it is with hands that think I am on a complete bluff and the opponent made a huge mistake.

I don't think it's a big deal, but the highest I've played is 5/10, maybe it's a bigger deal at higher stakes

harder to read hands, but just as important, players who would normally bet significantly less than pot, are now betting the full pot everytime, making it tougher to make thin calls as well as draw much cheaper.

so it makes mediocre players play better.
