Too bad the season is on hold until the Writer's Guild comes off strike.

I'm guessing this might mean there's a decent chance they can put together one or two really good episodes.

Maya Rudolph has two charcters Oprah Winfrey and Whitney Houston. The Amy Poehler Rick skit is so [censored] annoying.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think Maya Rudolph is really, really hot, though.

Starting with season 12, I rank the reperatory players in which I am familiar. Season 12-onward. About 1987 or so. Current cast members excluded, except for Darrell Hammond who has been on for like 20 years. His legacy isn't going to change in either direction.

1Will Ferrell - simply all-around the best
2Mike Myers - outstanding will remain top 3 for years.
3Phil Hartman - The "Glue"..solid as a rock.
4Dana Carvey - So talented
5Chris Farley - Did anything to get a laugh.
6Adam Sandler - Comedy genius
7Molly Shannon - Really shined in "the new cast". Best chick
8Chris Parnell - subtlely hilarious. Great rapper.
9David Spade - Never pulled any punches.
10DARRELL HAMMOND - Poor mans Phil Hartman
11Ana Gasteyer - superb character player
12Chris Kataan - very strange but good
13Cheri Oteri - another great female. Burned out.
14Rob Schneider - Busy now making "floppies" <--bad movies.
15Tim Meadows - Not bad for a black guy. The Ladies Man.
16Rachel Dratch - Hilarious in almost all skits.
17Horatio Sanz - Goofy charm about him. Hispanic.
18Jimmy Fallon - Schtick got really old; pretty talented.
19Norm MacDonald - Weird dude/nice dry humor. Burt Reynolds
20Kevin Nealon - Great update man.
21Mark McKinney - Quiet yet solid.
22Jon Lovitz - Pretty annoying and loud. Bald.
23Chris Rock - Can a brother not get old after 1 season!?
24Dennis Miller - Great Weekend Update man/not much else.
25Tina Fey - Supposedly great writer. Female. Glasses.
26Jim Breuer - Didn't last long
27Julia Sweeney - It's Pat! It's not much else.
28Tracy Morgan - Never found his niche.
29Colin Quinn - Mumbled too much. Too un-anunciative.
30Victoria Jackson - Played blond [censored]. That's it.
31Ellen Cleghorne - Pretty terrible. Moments of funny.
32Michael McKean - Threw Lorne Michaels a bone for a season.
33Jan Hooks - Not memorable.
34Chris Elliot -More of a writer. Amazin Laser! It's amazin!
35Janeane Garafalo - Terrible and below-average to look at.
36Nora Dunn - Who? Not memorable.
37David Koechner - Didn't last long. Could have been great.
38Jeff Richards - Drunk Girl was great. Didn't last long.
39Nancy Walls - Left for Daily Show. Married 40yrold virgin.
40Finesse Mitchell - Downright awful. Just terrible.
41Melanie Hutsell - Zero-trick pony.
42Morwenna Banks - I don't know who this is but her name popped up on Wikipedia. lol. Unrankable.

Ineligible (in no order):

KENAN THOMPSON
BILL HADER
ANDY SAMBERG
JASON SUDEKIS
KRISTIN WIIG
MAYA RUDOLPH
AMY POEHLER
WILL FORTE
SETH MEYERS
FRED ARMISEN

If I had to pick two, probably Oteri and Dratch. Poehler and Fey are close though.
