Eff that. Wendy's still has the 3/4 lb. triple.

This is the only fast food hamburger that I have ever gotten excited about. Unfortunately there are like 4 Wendy's in the LA metro area. Well, fortunately for me actually.

I always see the picture of the 3/4lb burger when I'm at Wendey's and I get intimidated. That thing looks HUGE. I then order like 6 things off the 99c menu, which is probably more food than the 3/4lb burger.

Usually I get the double. I have to be really hungry to get the triple. IMO the double has a better meat vs. other stuff flavor ratio anyway. Triple can taste a little meat-heavy.

I can't imagine living in LA and deciding to get fast food burgers at places other than In N Out.

Does the quad whopper come with 4 slices of cheese? I'd ask them to put another layer of lettuce onions ketchup and mayo in the middle.

Isn't a double quarter pounder two 1/8lb patties?

[/ QUOTE ]

For real?

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow. I have never thought of it this way. I would not be surprised at all to find out this is true. I had always assumed that "Double Quarter Pounder" meant two patties having a total weight of .5 pounds (.25 per patty). However, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if MacDonalds just meant a double burger equaling .25 pounds total (1/8 pound per patty).

That would be some slick marketing.
